Established in 1985, Spéos photography school is a private higher education course. The school celebrates 36 years of experience in higher education in professional photography in 2021. Spéos’ mission is to prepare students to meet current market demands and accompany them in becoming successful photographers in the field of their choice. Courses at Spéos are organized mainly in small groupshands-on with a lot of practice, and supervised by a team of highly qualified professionals.

Choosing an international school, recognized by the profession and the industry

Spéos photography school has campuses in Paris and Biarritz (France). The school offers professional photography programs in English as well as in French. Spéos diplomas are recognized by the French State with the Title of Photographer RNCP level 6 and the school has received numerous accreditations. Spéos obtained the Qualiopi certification, France’s quality label for training providers.

Spéos offers unique and exclusive specialized programs with prestigious partners: Creative Documentary with Magnum Photos, Fashion, Luxury & Beauty Photography. The school is official partner of the Voies Off festival of Arles since 1997. The Spéos Alumni Care program helps our graduates in their first professional steps.

A wide range of courses, tailored to everyone’s needs

Spéos photography school offers professional photography programs in 1 year2 years or 3 yearsshort programs, as well as photography workshops. The school also offers online photography courses with an immersive online course in Commercial + Fine Art Portrait Photography, and a Blended Learning Professional Photography course. Students present their portfolio and website to a graduation jury made up of professionals, and then at the Spéos end-of-the-year exhibition, the profession’s appointment for 36 years.

Online program: Commercial + Fine Art Portrait Photography

The Commercial + Fine Art Portrait Photography program is a 100% immersive online program aimed at students wishing to learn staged portrait photography, develop their personal style and create their own portfolio. Taught in English only, this program starts in January 2022 for a duration of 14 subsequent weeks.
